I wasted years doing this wrong

I wasted years doing this wrong

Bonjour,

Real talk for a second.

For years, I was doing everything “right” with French.

I watched videos. I used apps. I did the exercises. I showed up.

But I couldn’t hold a conversation.

I’d freeze mid-sentence.

Forget simple words.

Feel like an impostor every time I tried to speak.

And I kept wondering: What’s wrong with me?

Why is everyone else progressing while I’m stuck in the same place?

Here’s what I finally realized:

I wasn’t doing anything wrong.

I just had the wrong habits.

In this video, I break down the 5 habits that took me from frustrated and stuck to fluent enough to pass exams, move to Canada, and now prepare for DALF C1.

These aren’t complicated. They’re not time-consuming. They’re just… different from what most people do.

In the video, I walk you through each habit in detail, why it works, how to apply it, and how to fit it into your real life (not some fantasy schedule).

And here’s what I want you to know:

I’m not special. I’m not a genius. I learned French in Nigeria without ever living in France or any francophone country.

If I can do it while juggling motherhood and a career, you can do it too.

Watch the video. Pick one habit to start with. Just one.

And if you want the complete roadmap I use to guide my students (90+ topics from A1 to C1, organized week by week) I’ve linked my French Fluency Guide in the video description.

Send this to someone who’s been stuck in their French learning.

They need to see this.
